Daylight Donuts are independently owned stores licensed through Daylight Donut Flour Company, LLC, which is a privately held enterprise with nearly a thousand retail outlets in 28 states and close to a dozen international markets. From its founding in 1954, the Daylight Donut Flour Company has embraced an entrepreneurial culture, with all stores independently owned and operated by business people who are free to keep all the profits they earn from their stores.

Daylight Donuts - Prosper is an independently owned store that keeps the same fantastic donut mix which is one with a distinctively light texture and flavor while also collaborating with a Texas favorite -- Blue Bell Creameries to offer hand scooped ice cream and several other special treats that will be announced during opening. This Prosper location was founded by owner Lee Bender, a local resident that lives in the Prosper area with his wife Yukari and their four children Liana, Yuriel, Maiya, Levi and their dog Missy. Although being originally from Detroit, MI, since becoming a resident of Prosper and meeting everyone around the area, Lee knew that this was his home and one day he would want to own a business in the area and become a part of the great communities in the area. Once that chance presented itself, he jumped at it with the support of his family to help fuel his drive to build and do something great. As a proud USMC veteran, he was built and molded to face and overcome challenges with grit, determination, and a problem-solving "go getter" mentality. So while being a business owner is no easy feat, he plans to take on the mission with a smile on his face because he is confident that he has the leadership, experience, passion and the drive that's needed to be successful which leaves no doubt they he will give it his all in providing the best product, service and image, and workplace possible. It will be hard work but he and his family plan to contribute a lot of effort and energy into making this location and their business a special place where people love to visit with their families as residents and visitors of the great communities of Prosper and Celina.
