Our Story
The growing cities of Prosper and Celina are wonderful places to live with a terrific community. With the growth in population through rapidly increasing new home construction, the communities need more restaurants and local businesses to support their everyday needs.

As residents of the area, we frequently visit Frontier Park for activities and events with our families, and a common talking point amongst parents and visitors was a lack of places nearby to grab snacks, foods, and or drinks in the vicinity. That’s when our founder Lee, had the aspiration to become a business owner and find a way for him and his family to contribute to the growth of our community so he continued to search and keep an eye open for any opportunities here in Prosper and Celina.

Eventually he came across a real estate post stating a strip center would be going up right across from Frontier Park and he knew that it was speaking to him. That's when our founder Lee, decided to open a Daylight Donuts here in Prosper/Celina which provides a solution to a problem he understood we could be a part in helping keep the busy people of Prosper and Celina fueled throughout their day is coffee donuts and Ice Cream!
More about our owner and founder
Lee is a Marine Corps veteran and Texas transplant. He had spent time in Fort Worth as a duty station while serving and loved his time in Texas so when his second enlistment was ending he knew where he wanted to move and start the next chapter of his life. From there he, his wife, and their puppy Missy moved to Texas in 2012 where they started a new lives as civilians and he worked full time while being mostly a full time student as well to finish his associate's and then bachelor's degree. They then started a family and have now added three girls and one boy to their clan.
